Big Game TV was a live phone-in quiz channel which came under fire by allegedly tricking callers out of money.[1] The channel was called before a parliamentary committee[2]

Big Game TV was broadcast via Sky in 2005.[3] It released their first spin-off show, The Hallmark Channel Quiz on 6 March 2006, shown on The Hallmark Channel between 1-3pm. The show used only three of the presenters.

Big Game TV Productions branched out further when The Daily Quiz! went on air on 13 March 2006. This show aired on ITV Play and on Men & Motors seven days a week from 3.00pm-6.00pm and featured a selection of Big Game TV's presenters. ITV ended their involvement with Big Game TV due to the fraud allegations in May 2006.[4]

The channel closed down in early 2007 after some bad press for the call-tv industry.[5][6]
